Sunday, December 11, 3 p.m., Odd Fellows Hall, Eastsound
— from Paul Freedman —
Please join us to continue this thirty year long winter ritual in Eastsound. This beautiful, reverent event marks the season of darkness and reminds us of the promise of the return of light. The advent angel will lead children through the spiral of evergreen boughs as we sing a seasonal verse and celebrate the courage of walking through the darkness and the exaltation of finding one’s light.
All are welcome. The event is free. A donation of canned food for the Orcas Food Bank or a small donation to cover the costs of the event is appreciated.
