Orcas Cyclovia is a car-free event for bikes, pedestrians, and other movement without motorized vehicles. Wheelchairs and scooters are welcome. Orcas Cyclovia is a low carbon footprint, healthful, family and pet friendly activity for both visitors and the local community. It follows the Global Climate Strike called by Swedish youth Greta Thunberg. Let’s move our bodies and give our cars a rest.
Participants will enjoy concessions and special offers along the route from Boathouse Ciderworks (hot chai or mulled cider), Orcasong Farm (lavender spritz), and Orcas Golf (specials on drinks and golf).
Anyone interested in volunteering 9 a.m. – noon or noon – 3 p.m., please sign up on the event page. Event route: See link below for map. Over 9 miles Orcas Post Office to Fowlers Way.
