Midnight and there is an unknown precipitous substance on my deck. I stand outside for a bit and look up into the sky. I get some of that substance in my face. It is wonderful…familiarly wonderful.
The reason for this substance, or precipation as I seem to remember it is sometimes called, is according to weather.gov/Seattle:
... Wet weather is on tap for western Washington... ... Blustery weather is likely Saturday... It will be rainy across western Washington Friday and Saturday. One front will move across the area slowly on Friday and then a stronger frontal system will sweep through the area Saturday. People planning outdoor activities Friday and Saturday should be prepared for wet weather. Expect possible windy weather on saturday: gale warnings are possible for the marine areas with wind advisories possible over the land on Saturday. Www.Weather.Gov/Seattle
The web feet of this native-born Washington girl tingle with delight.

Great, ain’t it!!!!!
I heard a gurgling and sucking sound. It was my lawn, plants and flowers guzzling down the rain…and then they burped! It doesn’t get much better than that!
