Ali Salari, DO

ANACORTES, Washington — Island Health welcomes Ali Salari, DO to its Island Primary Care – 24th Street clinic this week. Salari has been a family medicine physician with the Stansbury Health Center in Stansbury Park, Utah for nearly 15 years and the Medical Director of Stansbury Health Center for the last decade. A graduate of Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University, he completed his residency at University of Utah Family and Preventative Medicine.

Salari is the first to admit that change is difficult and feels his role as a family medicine provider is to allow his patients to be heard, provide accurate information and give appropriate treatment options.

“I encourage my patients to work toward our collective goals in their health journey,” Salari said. “What I enjoy most is partnering with them to achieve positive outcomes.”

In addition to general family medicine, Salari’s clinical interests include sports medicine, diabetes care, hypertension, heart failure and preventative healthcare. An avid outdoors fan who enjoys skiing, snowboarding, trekking and travel, Salari was drawn to Anacortes by its bountiful outdoor opportunities and is hoping to get more comfortable on the water. He also looks forward to becoming active in the community.

Island Health Chief Medical Officer Jason Hogge, MD, is excited to have Salari on board.

“I’m looking forward to working with Dr. Salari who brings exceptional experience as a family medicine provider to our community. He is passionate about helping families at various stages of their lives improve their health and well-being.”
