Creativity and ingenuity are a valued part of island life and Island Makers are busy in their shops and studios breathing life into great ideas and wonderful works. Come meet Island Makers at the Spring Fair being held at the Orcas Center, March 28, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Furniture, metal work, woodworking, hand- crafted local foods and beverages, body care and medicinals, music, local author books, and a variety of artist and artisans’ works will be showcased and available for sale with a portion of proceeds benefitting the Orcas Center.

Discover unexpected flavors of island-brewed cider and spirits, taste locally grown prepared foods, listen to local music, enjoy discussions with artists, designers and artisans of all ages. Sponsored by the San Juan Makers Guild, Orcas Chapter, this hallmark event launches a year-round program that supports our beloved Makers, and helps them build thriving businesses in all creative industries.

Come for lunch, enjoy a sparkling cider, learn about local makeries, show your support for the Guild and the Orcas Center, and take home a treasure. Local soup and handcrafted bread will be available all afternoon, so come by and warm your tummy, heart and mind.
