All-Stars Dance sizedCome and see this artistic dance concert at Orcas Center. The Island Inspirational All-Stars presents The Nocturnes on Center stage at Orcas Center. There will be two dance concerts on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11 at 6:30 p.m.

This delectable contemporary dance concert takes place in the magical, musical garden of Mozart, J.S. Bach and Frédéric Chopin. With an emphasis on the Renaissance Era, the All-Star cast weaves a tapestry of beauty and grace through the use of sculptural images and paintings ranging from Rodin to Botticelli and Raphael. Breathing additional life into this production, world renowned Ballet pianist Lisa Harris will be playing a selection of Nocturnes by Chopin and other works. In this showcase the art is life, and life is as good as it gets.

Directed by Anthony Manuel, this performance features Orcas Island dancers: Tiffany Loney, Jessica Kruger, Samantha Martin Sprenger, Charles Dalton, Gail Bulletset, Aristotle Luna, Katie Zwilling, Anwyn Thompson and Kalie McGinnis. Former Orcas resident, ballet pianist Lisa Harris will be playing in collaboration with Choreographer Anthony. Orcas Center is thrilled to have Anthony and his dancers return to Center Stage.
