Island Hospital is offering a four-week online class series designed to prepare parents-to-be for the arrival of their new baby. 

Classes are Tuesdays from 6:30–9:00 p.m. starting January 4 and are taught by Teri Shilling, MS, LCCE, CD(DONA), IBCLC.  Cost is $95 and is covered by Apple Health. Registration is required; call 360-299-4204.


Island Hospital offers Cooking for Parkinson’s virtual cooking demonstration

Join Speech-Language Pathologist Libby Lewis and Chef Michael Hannah in this hour-long virtual course on supporting the nutrition of people with Parkinson’s disease. Island Hospital hosts car seat clinic

Safe Kids Northwest is hosting a free car seat clinic on Thursday, December 9 from 2–4 p.m. Learn how to properly install and use your car or booster seat. Located in the 24th Street parking lot of Island Hospital, Anacortes. Due to COVID-19 face masks are required (children under two exempt). Vehicles limited to four family members. Appointments are required; email CarSeatsNW@gmail.com to schedule.
