ANACORTES, Washington – The Island Hospital Foundation and Island Hospital are hosting a free, online community briefing on the COVID-19 vaccine Thursday, January 14 at 5:00 p.m. The briefing will include a panel of Island Hospital providers and senior leadership coming together to deliver insights on information regarding the vaccine. Specifics about the types of COVID-19 vaccines, side effects, and current recommendations from the CDC on who should receive it will be discussed.

Vaccine panelists will include Dr. Jason Hogge, Family Medicine/Obstetrics with Anacortes Family Medicine and Medical Director of the Walk-in Clinic, Dr. Brandon Greene, Pediatrician with Anacortes Family Medicine, IH CEO Charles Hall, MSN, MBA, as well as IH COO Elise Cutter, MBA.

The COVID-19 Vaccine Executive Community Briefing is a great opportunity for members of the community to learn more about the vaccine and distribution plans. We will be sharing the most current guidance from state and county officials on the phased distribution to the community. This is a free virtual event and questions from attendees will be taken via the chat feature during the briefing.
