Happy Spring! inviting you to our 2014 Kick-Off event, “Tides of March,” for the Indian Island Health Observatory research season.

As you know, Indian Island is our lovely little land mass smack-dab in the middle of East Sound which we all register in our peripheral visions on the way to the store, but which almost magically disrobes at low tides for a hand-full of days a year revealing all sorts of creatures and parallel universes which some of us around these parts are intent on monitoring and evaluating.

You cannot believe the people from the world over who show up at the Indian Island low tides!

You are invited to our Spring 2014 “Invertebrate High Tea!” Please join us for a report on the health of the Bay, with current information regarding algae blooms and sea star health and an outline of the 2014 Field Schedule.

Slideshow, Russel Barsh & Madrona Murphy botany, displays, light refreshments.

You are invited!
