Friends, Neighbors, and Supporters of all candidates,
We have reached the point in the campaign where things are winding down. The last of eight forums wrapped up this past weekend. Final meetings are scheduled. Ads are running. Last minute expenses are wrapped up. And most importantly, folks are voting for their preferred candidates.
As the ballots are being filled out and mailed in, we have had several supporters ask if they can make contributions to our campaign to help further our efforts. Thanks to the endeavors and voices of our many supporters, we can officially say ”Nope…we’re good!”
That said, If you feel inclined to make a contribution to further local, civil, political discourse, we ask that you consider making a donation to one or both of the following organizations.
The San Juan County League of Women Voters and San Juans.Today (formerly CNL2) have both worked very hard to make robust political discourse accessible to all of the residents of San Juan County. They have collectively provided a platform for each candidate to be heard equally, fairly, and openly. In a time when unbiased political conversations are often clouded, the opportunities they have gifted the candidates and the residents of San Juan County are invaluable.
If you appreciate their work, as much as we do, we encourage you to contribute to further their work in our community — it’s an investment in all of the folks in San Juan County and our political process. So, we encourage you to follow both links below, share them within your circle of friends, and donate today, if you can.
