Join us for a Brown Bag Lunch

||| FROM SAN JUAN COUNTY COMMUNICATIONS |||

San Juan County’s Public Works Department is exploring an option to purchase additional property adjacent to the Davis Bay boat ramp and barge landing facility on Decatur Island.

On June 24, Public Works entered into a purchase and sale agreement (PSA) for the acquisition of 458 Davis Beach Rd, an adjacent 0.8-acre waterfront parcel and residence, for the list price of $750,000.  The PSA provides an opportunity to engage with the community; it does not provide authorization to purchase the property.

On Tuesday August 12, the public is invited to visit the property with Councilmember Jane Fuller (District 3) and Public Works Director Colin Huntemer to share their opinions and ideas regarding this property and its usefulness to better serve the transportation needs of Decatur Island residents. This is an opportunity to share feedback with County staff and your elected councilmember. Feel free to bring your bag lunch, a lawn chair, and your questions.

What: A lunch discussion about the County’s plans for the Decatur property

Where: 458 Davis Beach Rd, Decatur Island

When: Tuesday, August 12 from 12:00 -1:00pm

Please note that the meeting will be held outside on the deck and lawn. The house will not be open to the public, but staff will facilitate a walk around the property.  Decatur Listing Photo 2
