Don Ehlen brings his world famous Insect Safari to the Doe Bay Café for one show only, Saturday, November 21st from 5-7pm. At over 3,000 specimens, Insect Safari is the largest traveling arthropod museum in North America. Luminescent butterflies, psychedelic beatles, scary spiders, plus live scorpions and stick bugs you can meet in person.

Don Ehlen has been teaching his unique entomology program for over a decade at schools, library’s and museums and is a regular contributor on KUOW. Children and adults respond with equal enthusiasm to Ehlen’s maverick style and amazing bug facts. If you have a bug question or a specimen you want to identify, please bring it along.

Based in Seattle, Insect Safari will come to Doe Bay on Nov. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m.with a  reception and no host bar. Regular dinner service is from 7-9pm (Dinner space is limited, reservations recommended; phone 360-376-8059).
