They’re back! The beloved tradition returns, as the Olga Symphony once more takes to the Orcas Center stage for their annual Holiday Concert this November 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. Melinda, Gordon, Z, JP, and Anita will bring guitar, fiddle, bass, mandolin, ukulele, banjo, dobro, musical saw, and luscious vocals to you in a decidedly non-symphonic manner. There will be classic favorite songs, a few new treasures, fun, and at least one new dress.
For everyone’s sake, Covid protocols will be in place: proof of vaccination required for entry, masks worn at all times in the building (except the performers when on stage), and seating will be assigned, distanced, and limited, so get your tickets early!
New this year – no matter where you are spending your Thanksgiving weekend, the Olga Symphony is coming to you! Both nights of this year’s concert will be livestreamed! Simply visit OrcasCenter.org at 7 p.m. PT on the night of the concert and you’ll be able to watch online and make your donation from the comfort of your own home, or wherever you may be.
Since its inception in 1983, the Olga Symphony has donated all proceeds from every performance and CD sale, including this holiday show, back to the community – no member of the Symphony has ever made a cent. This year, hearkening back to the very earliest days of this annual concert, 24 years ago, ALL TICKETING, in person and livestream, is entirely BY DONATION! Your generous gift upon purchase will be passed along in its entirety to local charities.
Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday, October 31. You must sign up in advance at www.orcascenter.org, as there will be no sales at the door. After all these years, the Olga Symphony remains so very grateful for your support and generosity.
