Hops On the Rock Is back! A few friends of mine, all local business owners, host a regional Beer Festival on Orcas (Eastsound), Veterans Day weekend. November is the worst month for Business on the Island and this is a fun way to support our community, thank our community and have a good time.
We all need some fun after Covid. We will have 20 Washington Brewers, two Cideries from Orcas and Wine from Orcas. Local live music and some amazing local food.
In 2019 about 1000 people came to the event and we already have pre-sold 350 tickets.
It’s a great and fun story. No sponsors, the money goes to the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce to save for the next year and help with their operational budget. The founders and organizers from the local brewer, grocery store, pharmacy/outdoor shop/convenience store (Me), Chimney Sweep, Café/wine shop owner and restaurant guy.
