Featuring more than 30 breweries, cideries, and wine producers, this year’s Hops on the Rock Beerfest promises to be a slam dunk! The beer flows from 11-4pm with food and other fun too. Music starts at 11:30am featuring Orcas Island’s own Run for the Roses and Babycakes out of Bellingham!

There are still opportunities to get your discounted tickets ($10 off!) at Island Hoppin’ Brewery, Doe Bay Wine Company, and the Lower Tavern! These businesses have been core to the event for many years now, so take the opportunity to support them doing something awesome for the island!

And because Orcas knows a good thing, there are several events leading up to the festival itself next Saturday. Check out this line-up!!

  • Island Hoppin’ Brewery, 4-7pm Brewer’s Night with Larrabee, Fremont, Hellbent, Black Raven, and 20 Corners. Pizza Cab Pop Up. The Swells play at 6pm.
  • The Legion, 5-8pm Mac and Jacks Meet Up and spaghetti dinner. (Open to the public!)
  • Doe Bay Wine Company, 5pm Eastside Tasting with Single Hill, Varietal, and Yonder Cider
  • Madrona Bar & Grill, 5pm Stemma Brewing Tap Takeover with tasting flights and food pairings.
  • The Barnacle, 6pm Meet the Maker with FrinGe Brewing owner Jeff Lazzari. Special pricing on beer flights and beer cocktails.
  • Rosario Resort, 6pm Terramar Brewstillery 5 course dinner pairing – buy tickets in advance by calling 360.376.2152 ext. 400.
  • White Horse Pub, 6:30pm Brewer’s Night with Stoup
  • Monti, multiple reservations beginning at 5pm A very special dining event with Ron and Amber of Garden Path Fermentation. Six-course tasting menu paired with Garden Path favorites. Seating is limited. 21+ event. Reserve your spot here!
  • The Lower Tavern, 8:30pm Brewer’s Evening with San Juan, El Suenito, and Bellingham Cider. Karaoke starts at 9.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11

  • Hops on the Rock Beer Festival The main event kicks off at 11am!
  • Gertie’s, 10-3pm Brewers’ Brunch menu featuring Hops on the Rock vendor beers transformed into culinary creations and beer pairings.
  • White Horse Pub, 6:30pm Brewer’s Night with Jellyfish (no, not that Jellyfish)

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12

  • Island Hoppin’ Brewery, 10am Hangover Breakfast of Micheladas, Mimosas, and Poutine featuring Kulshan, Stones Throw, El Suenito, and Skagit River. Poutine Your Mouth Food Truck. Live music with River Rye and Bad Dads.
  • Gertie’s, 10-3pm Brewers’ Brunch menu featuring Hops on the Rock vendor beers transformed into culinary creations and beer pairings.
