||| FROM SAM GAILEY for ORCAS ISLAND LIBRARY |||

Join us on Saturday, December 20 at 3:00 PM for a cozy winter gathering filled with stories, surprises, and holiday cheer! Bring a wrapped book you love (or think someone else will!) and trade it anonymously with fellow readers.

New twist: After a book is unwrapped, the giver will read the first paragraph aloud — then the group can try to guess the title before it’s revealed. It’s a fun way to spark conversation and celebrate the joy of storytelling.

You might discover a new favorite author, meet other book-loving neighbors, or simply enjoy the magic of a surprise read. Ages 18 and up, but all are welcome.

Warm drinks, good company, and plenty of literary fun await—come celebrate the season, Orcas Island style.
