The Orcas Island Historical Museum returns to the annual community celebration for our biggest fundraiser – the homemade pie booth!

We need community members to contribute pies and other sweet treats: Rhubarb, blackberry, chocolate, pecan, apple, blueberry and strawberry-rhubarb… Whatever you like to bake! Last year we received a record 70 pies plus cookies and other sweet finger-foods – let’s top that this year! Unsold sweets are donated to the “Dinner Kitchen” program, which benefits our community in another way.

We also need volunteers for the booth itself – setting up, slicing pies, scooping ice cream, handling cash. Please let us know if you’d like to help!

Please contact Karen at 376-4849 or email.

Note: Regretfully, the San Juan Health Department does not allow the sale of key lime, lemon meringue or any pie with cream or uncooked egg
