Saturday, April 2, 3:30 – 5 p.m., Crow Valley School Museum

— from Pegi Groundwater —

If you love our local history museum and like to meet people, please consider becoming a Docent for the Orcas Island Historical Museum. Most Docents are scheduled for a 2-1/2 hour shift once a week. There are always two Docents on a shift and help is available in the office if you need it.

There will be a Docent meeting at the Crow Valley School Museum on Saturday, April 2 from 3:30-5 p.m. This is a good opportunity to meet our Director and some of our Board members and have your questions answered. You can find out from other experienced Docents how they feel about volunteering.

This event is sponsored by the Orcas Island Historical Society’s Membership/Volunteer Committee. We hope that our new Docents will bring fresh energy and ideas to make our local Museum even more relevant and vibrant in the community.

Please RSVP to Carol at 376-4198 or email carol@orcasblueheron.com
