Girls with Ukes join together to play on Friday Nov. 13 at Random Howse
Fans of music and fun are cordially invited to the Random Howse Friday, November 13 to the third-ever performance of Girls with Ukes! The group, co-lead by Anita Orne and Mandy Troxel, includes girls from Orcas Middle and High schools, the Christian School, Salmonberry, Spring Street School in Friday Harbor, with a couple of homeschoolers in the mix!
The program will be about 45 minutes long, and feature a capella vocal rounds and harmonies, comedy via song introductions, and of course a selections of tunes that spans a wide array of musical genres. Concert begins at 6:30 pm, and the doors open at 6:00 pm for dinner and drinks. There is no cover charge, but donations to the tip jars will cover choir costs such as practice space and scholarships for musicians.
