During this unprecedented time of school closure, the OISD will be providing ALL children in our community with free breakfast and lunch during the school closure (with the exception of spring break). Staff will prepare bagged meals daily that will contain lunch for the day and breakfast.
To help defray the cost of this program, the Orcas Island Education Foundation (OIEF) will match community donations to a new “School Food Fund” up to $5000. The goal of OIEF is to raise $10,000 for children’s meals. 100% of the donation will go to the school district to underwrite food cost.
