||| FROM ANNE PRESSON for ORCAS ISLAND HEALTH CARE DISTRICT |||
Island Primary Care – Orcas is committed to meeting the health care needs of our community. This means providing access when you have a health care concern that can be scheduled into the future, as well as accommodating times when you have a need that is more urgent.
A flyer was created to help understand and guide you through the process for seeking care when the need is more timely. This includes being able to access a provider both during and after Clinic hours.

Anne Presson has said to voice our suggestions: ( I have sent this note also to the staff at the clinic)
I have long felt we needed a Primary Care physician here who is a Geriatrician. Orcas has a majority of older folk who seem to take Robert Moran’s suggestion to live 35 years longer than expected, and who become octogenarians or older, still being contributors to island life, but with increasing aging issues. Let’s have someone primarily concerned with these issues as one of our PC physicians. It’s logical.
Is this access for everyone, or just established patients of the clinic?
