The Orcas Island Health Care District (OIHCD) had another short meeting on Oct. 9, devoted mostly to the budget. Superintendent Anne Presson presented a draft of the formal budget to the commissioners based on figures from the OIHCD finance committee’s financial model.
The next draft will be discussed at the Oct. 16 meeting, and the results of that discussion will become the budget to be considered at the public hearing on Nov. 6.
