Washington State Ferries Assistant Secretary Lynne Griffith will travel to the San Juan Islands for three days beginning Tuesday, August 9, to meet with local officials and the public.
At a series of four community meetings on all ferry-served islands, Griffith will speak to attendees on current topics of interest regarding the Washington State ferry system. The public will have opportunities to ask questions and provide feedback at the meetings.
“We’re always looking for new ways to improve our service to customers,” Griffith said. “I’m looking forward to meeting San Juan Islands residents, listening to them and sharing our most up-to-date ferry information.”
Community meetings will be held on Orcas, San Juan, Shaw and Lopez islands. Times and locations of the meetings:
