Library Volunteer Jane Alden has created a Shakespeare display at the Public Library which will help toast the bard’s 446th birthday celebration and 394th anniversary of his death, on Friday, April 23 at 3:30 p.m.
Library Director Phil Heikkinen says, “It appears [William Shakespeare] was baptized on April 26, 1564, and died on April 23, 1616.”
Visitors can take home a scroll of one of his sonnets, also created Alden.
