Thian Armenia concentrates on his pumpkin carving, at the weekend Pumpkin Fest, sponsored by Eastsound merchants and the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce

Downtown Eastsound (and outliers) continue to be the place for man, woman, child and beast to “get their ghoul on” or fantasize about identity.

Pawki’s annual HOWL-O-WEEN!  from 1 to 5 p.m. Bring in your pet to trick or treat for a goodie and a free photo in our (not so) scary photo booth! New this year is our Pet Costume Contest! We’ll be awarding $20 Pawki’s gift certificates for the Best Homemade Costume, Best Group and Best Pet and Handler! 1 pm-5 pm at 199 Main Street, Eastsound.

Trick or Treat at Downtown Eastsound Businesses – 3 pm to 5 pm:  Presented by your Eastsound Merchants and the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce. Includes Islanders Bank off Prune Alley, and KT Chocolates in Eastsound Square, Celtic Beauty across from Ace Hardware, and San Juan Insurance and Dr. Chris White’s office at the Airport Center.

Trick-or-Treat for Books at the Orcas Island Public Library3 pm to 5 pm: Come in and pick out a book and have your picture taken!

Trick-or-Treat at the Orcas Island Hysterical Museum – 3 pm to 5 pm: Learn the true Orcas Island scary story about Mrs Rice & Higgy the Bear and enjoy some special treats!

”Young Frankenstein” free movie screens at the Odd Fellows on Haven Road at 7 pm. Come in costume!

Odd Fellows Dance at 8:30 pm which will include live band and DJ’s. Costume prizes will be awarded at 10 pm.  $10 for adults & $5 for kids.
