From Canoe Island French Camp
Canoe Island French Camp is offering tuition at half price for Island residents at the French pastry- and chocolate-making weekend, June 8-10.
For the second year Canoe Island is hosting these fun and enthusiastic chefs. Learn to make beautiful, handcrafted pastries from French dessert chefs Laurence Sourzat, Jean Marc Vareil, and Jean-Pierre Meignaud, who have been trained in some of the best maisons in France and have worked in Cannes, Paris, Aix en Provence and Monaco.
We will provide gourmet meals with wine from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch, private quarters in your own tipi with linen and towels provided, three pastry classes and a chocolate decoration demonstration, CIFC apron, sailing and kayaking, swimming in our heated pool and tennis. Each class will be limited to 6 participants.
“Pâtisserie-By-The-Sea: The Art of French Pastry and Chocolate” on Canoe Island will cost $350 for Island residents.
