Monday, April 20, Noon – 3 p.m., Island Market

— from Jim Duffield —

April Orcas ad 2015If you are doing spring cleaning, the Skagit Habitat for Humanity Store truck will be back on Orcas Island on the 20th of April. This time the truck will be parked at Island Market in Eastsound from noon to 3 PM, unless it fills up earlier.

The recommendation is that you show up early so there will be room for your treasures.

The volunteers from SHFH will be accepting working appliances, gently-used furniture, building materials, cabinets, tools (including rusty and broken hand tools), full cans of latex paint, vinyl-clad windows, and more.

The Habitat truck will return periodically until the Exchange is back in business. Contact Duff at 376-3032 or tpiduff@hotmail.com if you have questions.”
