For all of you who want to get a jump on spring cleaning, the Skagit Habitat for Humanity’s Store truck will be back on Orcas Island on Monday, April 4.The truck will be parked again in the Island Market parking lot, and will be accepting usable items from noon until 3 p.m., or until the truck is full.

“Over the past two years, we have built a very cooperative relationship with the Skagit Habitat for Humanity Store, and welcome their regular visits,” says Pete Moe, executive director of Orcas Recycling Services. “When The Exchange opens again in the coming months we intend to continue working with Habitat whenever it will help us pursue our our zero-waste mission.”
