Orcas Recycling Services commences operations today. This is a land mark event for our Island.
For ORS to be successful and continue the employment of local people or their companies, everyone must give them their support. You do this by using the Island waste disposal operations and don’t sneak waste off Island to less expensive facilities.
ORS needs revenue not only for its day to day operations but money to develop new systems that will ultimately lower Island disposal costs. As you know ORS and the Exchange are now one and the same.
So if you want to get the latter back up and functioning – fully support Pete Moe and crew that are striving to make our waste disposal system a success.
