Earth Day is coming! So is Eth-Noh-Tec, nationally known storytellers on Orcas Island, to gather the community in a performance of ‘Green’ Stories. Through ancient Asian myths and folktales, this performance will inspire and celebrate love of the Earth. These tales show how the power of one inspiring the power of the many can make a difference.
Come to the powerful storytelling of Eth-Noh-Tec. These Nationally acclaimed professional tellers, Nancy Wang and Robert Kikuchi-Yngojo have graced the stages of The Smithsonian, Wolftrap, The National Storytelling Festival of Jonesborough, and recently, for President Obama’s Inaugural Celebration.
Their movement based, theatrical storytelling is at once lyrical, dynamic and choreographed narrative that casts a spell of enchanting mythology upon the landscape of your imagination.
In these challenging times, there is much we can do to help with global climate change. Come listen, come participate, come celebrate! There is always hope and possibility!
This one-night only appearance is a sneak preview of the upcoming, third biennial Orcas StoryFest this summer.
