With the weather cooperating so brilliantly, this had to be one of those VERY special “it takes a village ” days that restores sunshine to the spirit.
Of a grandmotherly age, but lacking the actual hand in hand requisites, I was delighted to be warmly embraced by a towering white rabbit myself before joining some very happy 4Hers proudly sharing a 2week old lamb and some smaller rabbits with their peers. Then I navigated between picnic tables and the serious cookie artisans at Brown Bear. No lack of supplies, a
constant stream of generous sugar cookie rounds and more very happy faces. Benson Hall provided the Easter equivalent of Santa’s workshop with parasols, Easter baskets and hats being
fashioned at big tables filled with generous and beautiful donations from The Nest and Cindi inspiring every tulle bow and tulip sticky.
Thank you to everyone who made this day possible, a delightful memory for me, and I am sure for anyone who wandered into the Eastsound ” wonderland” from 11 to 2 p.m.
