Grace McCune announces the beginning of the next eight-week session for the “Orcas Youth Chorus” and the adult “Rock on the Rock Singers”. The information for both choir’s is as follows:
Orcas Youth Chorus
The Youth Chorus will focus on a selection of songs from the musical “Aladdin.” This class will explore the fun of working on stage with musical theater. The chorus will meet every Thursday at 3:30-4:30 p.m. starting April 7th in the Off-Center Stage at the Orcas Center.
There are no auditions. Tuition is $60 for the 8 week series.
Rock on the Rock Singers
This choir will be meeting every Thursday at 5:30-7 p.m. starting April 7th in the Off Center stage at the Orcas Center.
This choir is a high energy, belly laughing fun- musical experience. The only pre-requisites are the desire to sing and to have a good time doing it. The music for this round of singing ranges from Leonard Cohen to the Beatles, R & B classic’s to Queen.
There are no auditions to participate in this choir. Tuition is $60 for the eight week series.
