THE 65TH ANNUAL HISTORICAL DAYS IS THIS SATURDAY, JULY 2
(Saturday, July 2, events starting @ 10:00 am on the Village Green)
The 65th annual Historical Days is this Saturday, July 2, on the Village Green by the Pioneer Museum. It will be a fun- packed day with something for everyone! The festivities will kick off at 10:00 am with the opening of our much-loved Pie Booth, Beer Garden featuring Island Hoppin’ beer, and our Hot Dog Stand next to the Museum. All close at 4 pm or when the supplies run out.
At noon, the Historical Society will have a float in the 4th of July parade. Look for us there! Children’s games begin at 1:00 pm behind the Pioneer Museum. From 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, the Harvey Family will put on their popular logging show.
Entrance to both the Pioneer Museum and the Crow Valley School will be free that day, so plan on stopping in. This is a great chance to put your family on the Orcas Timeline and visit our Wings Over Orcas Island Exhibit.

LIONS CLUB 42nd ANNUAL SALMON BBQ
(Saturday, July 2, 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm @ the Eastsound Fire Station)
Come join us at the Eastsound Fire Station for our 42nd Salmon BBQ using our long, steeped in mystery, recipe. Meal includes a baked potato, cole slaw, roll, beverage and good company. Cost is $18.00 the day of the event for adult tickets, with a presale discount of $2.00 per ticket — which can be purchased at The Trading Company on Prune Alley, Kay’s and Cherie Lindholm Real Estate on North Beach Road. Children tickets are $12.00 for children up to 12 years old. Apple Crisp is also available for $5.00 at the event. All funds raised from the BBQ is returned to the Orcas Community for the Lions Service Projects (Health Screening Van, Scholarships, Eye Glasses, Hearing Aids and much more).

Eagle Forum of SJC is celebrating the 4th of July with a patriotic celebration of freedom and what it means.
