GMO-Free San Juans is sponsoring a free presentation, “Working Together to Create a GMO-Free Future” with Marney Reynolds & Ken Ankopiantz on Thursday, February 19, 6-7 p.m. at The Co-op Commons (upstairs at the Orcas Food Co-op).
Topics will include:
- How GMO policy is affecting the food we eat
- How San Juan County’s ban on growing GMOs is making a difference
- What we can do to avoid GMOs in our foods
Marney and Ken were instrumental in helping pass the 2012 initiative to ban the growing of GMOs in San Juan County.
