We are looking for people who own land who will allow us to come pick from their abundant blackberries, apples, pears, and other extra fruits and veggies that you may have, but do not need. Also, if you know of a piece of land where it is OK to pick fruit, especially Blackberries as they come into season, let us know!
This looks like it will an abundant year for fruit and we love to harvest, so if you have any that you do not need, let us know by email: domverb@yahoo.ca

How about setting up a facebook or Gardener’s Network site where Islanders/gardeners who are willing to have “harvesters” come , can post on that site?
The other idea is to have extra produce brought to a distribution spot in Eastsound once or twice a week.
