This year, on January 11, he was playing a show in Seattle at the Nectar Lounge. When he walked into the green room after his set, hip-hopt artist RA Scion—formerly with Common Market—was sitting on the couch. Anthony introduced himself and they exchanged info. A few weeks later they met up for coffee and chatted about Sasquatch and the idea of Anthony playing for Scion as a live drummer.
They have been playing together since, including the Sasquatch Festival at The Gorge (in George, Washington), as well as other locations in Seattle.
Following a trip to Orcas this summer, the concept for a music video, to be filmed on Orcas, took form. The end project was just released on Friday, September 27.
Meanwhile, Anthony’s brother Christopher, who had experience with the camera that was used to shoot the video, was recruited to assist the director on the video.
And to complete the Orcas connection, Scion’s wife attended Camp Orkila as a young student.

Tony and his wife musta done somethin’ right! (in hip hop language?)
Impressive video, on all levels…loved the music, even if this old lady can’t understand many of the lyrics.
thanks, Lin, for the link.
Wow, didn’t even know you were there filiming this professional and well done music video! The chapel seemed a great place for your expression. Wished the Victorian Valley Chapel had been noted in credits though. Feel free to email us via the website regarding. Sara and Allen Smith
BREATHTAKING !! A stunning, magical performance. BRAVO !!
Thank you all for your kind words about our little project. As you know this was a large undertaking done in a VERY short amount of time. We thank everyone involved. As producer, I had many loose ends and things to plan!
Sara and Allen Smith – I apologize! We had so many names to remember and TRULY thought we had gotten them all. I take full responsibility for this oversight and will add your name to the list of credits on our youtube channel as well as a link to your website! As Producer, I tried my hardest to “do every i and cross every t” but alas something was missed!
Again thanks to Orcas for being such a beacon of kindness for our little video :) we have a special place in our hearts for all of you!
this was fantastic – beautiful song – pagan hip hop! :) isn’t it great that a news venue like Orcas Issues can not only print the story but let you see it at the same time!
What a wonderful project. So cool to see so much filmed on Orcas.
Fantastic job. A wealth of talent in this great family. Congrats.
