We are excited to announce that the Orcas Island Film Festival will be happening again, in person, October 6-10, 2022. We will be back at The Sea View Theatre, and with two screens at the Orcas Center in Eastsound on Orcas Island, WA.
Curator Carl Spence has been back to his normal travel schedule to select top-notch films from around the world. He’s recently been to the Cannes Film Festival and will next be going to the Venice Film Festival later this summer. Back here at home, we’ve been hard at work on getting organized to be ready for this year’s 8th edition of the Orcas Island Film Festival.
We look forward to announcing new team members that will add great energy to produce a fantastic film festival. We gratefully acknowledge Co-Founder Jared Lovejoy’s contributions to our formative years. We wish him well with his new endeavors.
Weather permitting we are going to offer an outdoor screening or two later this summer as we lead up to the fall festival.
