Kids, Fun and Summer — that’s what the Funhouse is all about! Day visitors welcome too!
The Funhouse Commons was chosen as a recipient of the 4 percent Friday Community Shopping Day program offered by the Skagit Valley Food Co-op in Mount Vernon.
The co-op based its selection on the Funhouse’s local community service, especially its focus on and services for youth.
Recipient organizations receive 4 percent of the day’s gross receipts at the Skagit Valley Food Co-op.
[The Co-op is located at 202 South First Street in Mount Vernon. Directions: From I-5 take exit #226 (Kincaid St.). This is Highway 536. Go west (left if coming from the south and right if coming from the north) to Third St. Turn right at the Courthouse on the corner of 3rd Street and go about five blocks. As you drive underneath the large 2nd St. overpass, look for the Co-op parking lot and main entrance on your left. Store hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.]
The Funhouse will use the funds it receives to purchase nutritional snacks for kids participating in its After School, Ninja Camp and teen programs.
