The 17th Annual Funhouse Science Fair is happening on Saturday, Mar. 25, starting at 12 p.m. at The Funhouse. This FREE family event is open to the public and features gizmos and gadgets, marvels and wonders of the science world. Among other demonstrations, witness an exciting performance from our featured guest, Hazen Audel.

K-12 students from Orcas Island, and other islands, have been working hard to perfect their science fair projects. Wandering Wizards will be present to judge all the entries and cast votes for the Richie Moore Rocket Ship of Wonder award, which is presented annually to the “best of show” entry.

The Funhouse is awarding college scholarships to the top three high school or middle school student entries. Everyone who enters will receive a certificate, and a science-related prize.

All sorts of amazing demonstrations and exhibits are on display throughout the Funhouse grounds by students and adult islanders. There is truly something to interest all ages, so come check it out!

For downloadable rules and sign-up forms visit the Funhouse website at www.funhousecommons.org or email emilie@thefunhouse.org for questions.
