Lachlan Boyd was the overall male winner this year. This is the second year in a row he has won the race! His time was a lightning fast 18 min 22 seconds, which was 80 seconds faster than he ran to win it last year! He’s a 16 year old from Sedro Woolley. Mack Boyd won the 14 and under division.
Layna Mosley won the female division with 21 minutes 39 seconds. She has competed in the race several times and this is at least the third time she has won the women’s division.
The Rainshadow Consulting team won the biggest team and best team costume award, but there were several other teams including Orcas Island Middle School, Orcas Island Fire and Rescue, Team Gladney, West Island, Team Zumbazoom, and The Barnacles Happy Heart team (from The Barnacle)!
The 5K race had 168 runners, and the Kids’ 1K had 36. It was by far the biggest Funhouse 5K yet.
