San Juan Nature Institute is holding its annual fundraising picnic for Salmon in the Classroom for 4th graders at the home of Jim and Kathy Youngren on Sunday September 15 from 3-5:30 p.m.
Tickets for the Salmon and Sausage Barbecue are $25 per person, $40 per couple or $60 for a family of four. Visit the hatchery, walk through the woods and to the fish ladder and watch the salmon return. There will be activities for children.
All proceeds will fund the program at the Orcas Elementary School.
