Wonder if we’ll see Puxatawny Phil at The Friends of the Orcas Island Library Winter Book Sale that heralds the coming of spring?

The annual winter sale will be this Saturday, Sat. Feb. 20, at the Public School cafeteria from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Library Friend Board Member Ulanah McCoy says, “Thousands of high quality donated books of all categories to choose from… the proceeds benefit the public library and reduce the need for tax dollars.

“Our prices have not gone up in years….$1 for paperbacks or 3/$2.

$2 for hardbacks or 3/$5. Plus videos, DVDs, CDs, books on tape. Tons of kids books .25 – .50.
