Saturday, December 3, noon – 3 p.m., Orcas Library
— from Sandra Wilson —
Saturday, December 3, from noon to 3 is the 55th year that the Friends of the Library have thanked our Orcas community for their support and participation with a Holiday Tea. No tea bag in a Styrofoam cup for our Thank You. No siree. We’ll have tea in silver services poured by special people. Holiday punch if you would rather. Homemade savories (crustless sandwiches) and sweets (cookies, fudge) served on a beautiful table. Special table for the children. Live music. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will join us between 1 and 2 to listen to our children.
Perhaps you wonder if there will be another Holiday Book Sale for list-worthy gifts of new and nearly new books for adults and children. Come see…
Care to participate on another level? We would love to have a plate of your cookies and/or crustless sandwiches to add to the others on the table. Just let the Library know, do your baking and bring the results to the Library Saturday morning.
