Friday, June 17, 2016, 5 – 6 p.m., Orcas Library
— from Becky Carson-Eisenman, DoveTail Learning —
Orcas Island will be holding a “TOOLBOX Parent Education Night” as listed below. At this event, you will receive more information about this Social and Emotional Learning program, the “Tools” and how they work, and tips on how to use them in parenting.
We invite you to support your child in learning and practicing these Tools at home. Please talk with your child about what they are learning about the Tools in school.
You are your child’s most important teacher. By learning together about the TOOLBOX Tools at home, you are helping your son/daughter, and all of us, create a happier, healthier school community together. Please join us for more information.
Please address any questions or concerns to Katherine Marie (360)376-2692 or Becky Carson at (208) 866-5944 becky@dovetaillearning.org.
We look forward to seeing you there.
TOOLBOX gives children, teachers, parents, and schools a common language and the Tools necessary to form a cohesive, collaborative, non-violent, and caring community which leads to hope for a meaningful and positive future. Building Resilience, Self-Mastery, and Empathy for Others
