Indivisible San Juan Islands rallies residents to join the national mass-mobilization walkout, Free America, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, organized by the Women’s March. We will walk out of work, school, and commerce because a Free America begins the moment we stop cooperating with fascism.
Meet at the Courthouse Lawn at 2:00pm. Prepare to make some noise! Bring drums, bells, or pots to bang on as we walk the town together.”
2025 was a year of marches that proved our collective strength. And the threats have grown, so we must, too. The MAGA Regime has already signaled that a second term means a deeper and more open wave of misogyny, racism, xenophobia, and violence than the first. This moment calls for escalated commitment from our movement. This will be a peaceful protest and a promise to remain engaged in defending our rights and the Constitution.
Indivisible San Juan Islands is part of a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups working with our national Indivisible.org leadership to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda.
No matter where one lives, even on a small idyllic island in the Pacific Northwest, our way of life is under attack! This administration isn’t working for We the People. It’s rewarding billionaires, big business, and big oil for their contributions to Trump. Enough is enough!
