Sunday, April 15, 4 p.m., Odd Fellows Hall

— from Sydney Cooke —

A celebration to honor the life of Francis Racey, the inspiration and energy of the Lahari Hospice and Respite Care Center and Lahari Volunteer Hospice, will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 15 at Odd Fellows Hall.

On January 12, 2018, Francis, a longtime Orcas resident, passed. He brought compassion, comfort, and dignity to islanders and their families facing end of life. This will be a celebration of a life (lives) lived to the fullest.

Music and remembrances start at 4 p.m. Followed by potluck dinner and, as the old man would want it… music making and boogying into the evening.
