Hank and Claire will entertain with traditional and original folk songs this Saturday at the Odd Fellows Hall

Saturday, May 4th, 7:30 p.m. at Odd Fellows Hall

By Bill Buchan

Hank Payne and Claire Favro from Poulsbo, WA, define tight-harmony singing.

They beautifully arrange traditional and popular folk songs from Tom Paxton, John Prine, Chuck Pyle, Lou and Peter Berryman, and many others. Wonderful original songs round out a sweet, enjoyable evening.

“Always, we hope you catch the joy we feel in sharing songs that tell stories and touch us – in the heart, the funny-bone, or in the memory of who we are and where we come from.” www.hanknclaire.com.

A special treat is hearing Claire accompany some of the numbers on the hauntingly beautiful bowed psaltery. If you enjoy sweet harmonies, a bit of sentiment, some fun, and a big dose of heart, you’ll love Hank and Claire. Saturday, May 4th, 7:30 at the Odd Fellows Hall, $12. 376-3613 for more info.
