9 a.m. update The Klahowya is back in service and inter-island travel will resume. There will be a late 8:30am departure out of Friday Harbor.
Earlier: The Klahowya vessel is out of service due to necessary repairs.
Inter-island travel has been suspended until further notice. Vessel crews are currently assessing the problem and updates will occur as more information becomes available
