At 5:05 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, Washington State Ferries issued the following alert:
“Due to technical difficulties with the electronic payment system, all terminals are currently having to process fares offline. This may cause delays loading and delays to some departures until the problem is resolved. ”
The electronic fare system was back online at all terminals within 45 minutes.
