Envision your special evening unfolding: You and your date sip sparkling wine while nibbling away on gourmet appetizers, placing bids on items in the silent auction. Perhaps you stop to pose for a photo, then sit back and enjoy a delectable meal before slipping onto the dance floor to the engaging sounds of Half Pack Live!
“Wine Dine Valentine” is an elegant affair that allows you to kick up your heels in support of a great local institution. The benefit event for Orcas Island Children’s House takes place 6:30-11 PM, Fri., Feb. 14th, at the The Rosario Resort Beachhouse (Discovery House). Advance tickets are required for the event ($60 per person) and tables are limited. Complete details including menu, libations, auction items and ticket locations are posted HERE ONLINE.
Children’s House is pleased to announce local favorite, Gene Nery, will provide additional musical talent to Seattle-based swing band! And look for added entertainment throughout the evening, including magician Matthew Laslo and young songstress Stormy Hildreth.
The silent auction begins at 6:30 and includes: adventures (Emerald Isle Sailing, Outer Island Expeditions and Deer Harbor Charters); golf outings (Orcas Island Golf Club), elegant dining (Inn at Ship Bay), product and artistic donations (Local Goods, Tres Fabu, HD radios) air travel (Kenmore Air) and more.
